Carcano is the first Hispanic woman elected to the episcopacy of the United Methodist Church and an advocate for immigration reform and inclusion of the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community.
Carcano will speak on immigration reform in America at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 29. She will address "A Way Forward in the United Methodist Church" during the worship services at 8:15 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Sept. 30.
