Police arrest man accused of robbing downtown Little Rock bank, leaving with $60 in coins

An Arkansas man accused of robbing a downtown Little Rock bank and escaping with about $60 worth of coins has been arrested, authorities said.

Lynn Davis of North Little Rock was booked into the Pulaski County jail at 11:45 p.m. Wednesday on a charge of aggravated robbery, records show. He remained in jail Thursday morning with no bond set. Police said the 40-year-old held up the Simmons Bank branch in Simmons Tower at 425 W. Capitol Ave. shortly before 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette previously reported.

A teller told authorities the robber came into the building, said he had a gun and demanded money, according to a police report. The employee gave him $60 in coins, and then the man ran away, authorities said.
