Spencer Compton has been named valedictorian of Premier High School of Little Rock.
Mercedes Glass is salutatorian.
Compton, whose parents are Michael and Robyn Compton of Little Rock, has enlisted in the U.S. Army.
Glass, whose mother is Shantel Taylor of Little Rock, plans to enlist in the U.S. Army as well, once she becomes 18 years old.
She wants to eventually pursue her passion for dance after her military service.
Premier High School of Little Rock is part of the Responsive Education Solutions charter school system, which is headquartered in Texas and more commonly called ResponsiveEd.
