Officers said Braggs lied to them multiple times, saying her 10-year-old son was at a cousin's house or was not home at the moment, but she eventually led them inside. Officers said the child was afraid, overheated and dehydrated.

The child had no access to water, and the "house was in such disarray, it was unfit to live in," the report said.

Braggs was arrested and charged, and the child went to stay with another relative, according to the report. Officers said they reported the child's living condition to the Arkansas Child Abuse Hotline.

Braggs had been released by Monday afternoon.
