UPDATE: Missing man found in Missouri

Authorities located Lawrence Wayne Williams in Carthage, Mo. He is safe and will soon be united with family.


BENTONVILLE -- Bentonville police are requesting information concerning a 80-year-old man who left his home Thursday and never returned.

Lawrence Wayne Williams, 80, left his home sometime before noon to run errands, according to a news release from the Bentonville Police Department.

Williams suffers from dementia and answers to his middle name Wayne, according to the release. Williams was last seen wearing gray jeans, a long sleeve red shirt with black stripes and cowboy boots, according the release.

Williams is driving a 2008 Red Dodge Magnum with Arkansas license plate 548UJK.

Anyone with information about William' whereabouts is asked to call Bentonville police at 479-271-3170.
