Fickett Studios reboots with new name

Laura Fickett reintroduced her advertising and marketing business earlier this month as Culture Media Co. She started her company in October as Laura Fickett Studios.

The Fayetteville-based firm focuses on helping companies build a brand. Fickett said she hopes the new name highlights her work across several platforms including photography and graphic and Web design. She also created a new website, culturemediacompany.com.

Fickett is a Northwest Arkansas Community College graduate and began creating her business model in 2009 as she worked for larger companies.

She does most of the work herself but also employs one part-time employee and is interviewing interns.

Culture Media Co., 101 W. Mountain St., Suite 109, is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday and by appointment.
