A section of Alexander Road in Little Rock will be closed to through traffic until 5 p.m. today while Central Arkansas Water repairs a water main leak and associated roadway damage, the utility said in a news release.
The section of Alexander between Meyer Lane and Vimy Ridge Road was closed beginning at 4 p.m. Wednesday after the utility said it discovered a leak on an 8-inch water main earlier that day. About 40 utility customers have been notified that they will be affected by the repair work.
