In its application to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services for approval of expanding Medicaid through private insurance plans, the Arkansas Department of Human Services listed $118 million as the estimated monthly cost of providing coverage to about 250,000 adults with incomes of up to 138 percent of the federal poverty level in 2014. Articles in Tuesday’s editions and on Aug. 7 incorrectly described the cost estimate.
