HOPE - Hope police released few details Monday after the early morning killing of a man by several masked suspects.
Hope police Detective Daniel Lauterbach said officers found 36-year-old Roger Hall of Hope shot to death just before 3 a.m. at a home in the 1000 block of North Greening Street.
Hall suffered multiple gunshot wounds, Lauterbach said.
Another man, 24-year-old Lamario Henderson, also of Hope, was seriously injured. He suffered from multiple lacerations and burn wounds, according to a Hope Police Department news release.
Lauterbach wouldn’t elaborate on how Henderson was burned. Henderson was transported to a Louisiana hospital, but his condition was not known Monday afternoon.
Investigators are searching for a black Dodge Magnum with Texas license plates in the killing and wounding. Anyone with information related to the case is asked to call Lauterbach at (870) 722-2576 or Lt. Jimmy Courtney at (870) 722-2560.
