MAGNOLIA — A southwest Arkansas logger has died from injuries sustained when a tree fell on him.
Columbia County authorities say 51-year-old Donnie Moss of Camden was killed Wednesday morning.
A crew from East Camden-based Rogers Lumber Co. was working off U.S. 371 when a falling tree unexpectedly bounced off another tree on its way down and struck Moss.
Sheriff's investigators told the Banner-News in Magnolia that the death appears to be accidental. The federal Occupational Safety and Health Hazard Administration is investigating.
