Shelter To Hold Vendor Sale

— The Lone Pine Ranch Animal Shelter in Centerton will hold a benefit vendor sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the Executive Center, 1116 S. Walton Blvd. in Bentonville.

Items for the sale will include candles, bedding, fragrances, jewelry, kitchen items, pet items and more.

The sale is one of the shelter’s largest fundraisers. The money raised is used to care for the 60 dogs and 44 cats at the shelter. Veterinary care is the shelter’s largest expense, according to a news release.

Donation items will be accepted through Thursday. Lone Pine does not receive any city, state or county funding and survives solely on donations, fundraisers and adoption fees. There are no paid employees at Lone Pine, which is run by volunteers only, according to the release.
