Ill Liza

Liza Minnelli, citing illness, has called off a planned Nov. 12 concert at the Orpheum Theatre in Memphis.

A statement sent by Minnelli’s publicist says that the singer’s doctor has ordered her to postpone several weeks of shows after diagnosing her with bronchial pneumonia.

“I will be back on stage on Nov. 20,” Minnelli adds in the statement. An Orpheum spokesman says the theater will reschedule and honor Nov. 12 tickets for that show. Call (901) 525-3000 or visit the website, orpheum-mem phis.com.
