Sam Reynolds with the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department in Little Rock uses a torch Tuesday to cut and install a new sign along South Thompson Street in Springdale near West Emma Avenue. Reynolds and Brandon Praper replaced more than 180 signs along U.S. 71B from West County Line Road to Main Drive. Reynolds said the department replaces signs every 10 years.
