Los Angeles police officers stand alert at the LAPD headquarters in Los Angeles on Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013. Police are now investigating more than 1,000 tips from the public in the search for the Christopher Dorner, who is suspected of a deadly revenge plot against the Los Angeles Police Department. The number of tips has grown from an initial 250 since the city offered a $1 million reward for information leading to the capture of Dorner.
