Thomas (Tom) J. Hogan

Thomas (Tom) J. Hogan, 89 passed away September 13, 2018 in his wife's arms at home. Tom was born on April 30 1929 to Thomas J. Hogan Sr. and Anna Blanche Beauchamp Hogan in Chicago, Ill. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Robert Hogan and John Hogan and his sister: Virginia Liaromatis, 2 Grandsons: Matthew Neumann and David Hogan, and 4 nephews: Robert (Tippy) Hogan, Leonard Liaromatis, Danny Liraomatis and Billy Liaromatis. Tom, a proud father of 9 children, worked in the transportation industry management most of his life: Burlington Railroad, Chicago Ill., UPS, Chicago Ill., Brady Truck Lines, Des Moines Iowa, Pulley Freight Lines, Des Moines Iowa, Overland Express, Indianapolis Ind., and retiring from J.B. Hunt, Lowell Ark., but never really retiring since he always found a job that kept him busy. He and his wife managed the 'Village Chauffeur" for several years. He is survived by his wife, April of 35 years, the love of his life, 2 Daughters: Diane Lapole (Rick) of Alta, Iowa, Patty Langford (John) of Batavia Iowa, 7 Sons: David Hogan (Lana) of Earlville, Ill., James Hogan (Kelli) of Earlville, Ill., Paul Hogan (Peggy) of Sarona Wis., Tom Hogan of Des Moines Iowa, Dana Hogan (Dawn) of Des Moines Iowa, Matthew Hogan (Erin) of Buena Park Calif., Glen Hogan (DeAnna) of Pleasantville Iowa, Sister Violet DeLeo of Downers Grove Ill., 20 Grandchildren, 26 Great-Grandchildren, 8 Great-Great-Grandchildren and many Nephews & Nieces.
