Joyce Marie Lundstrum

Joyce Marie Lundstrum, age 79, of Elm Springs, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord October 16, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was born May 11, 1939, in Carthage, Missouri, the daughter of the late Hill and Inez Hood Schell and grew up in Alba, Missouri. She graduated from Alba High School and attended Joplin Secretarial School. Joyce was retired co-owner and operator of Southland Supply Company and ChemStation of the Ozarks, Inc. She was a member of Sovereign Grace Fellowship Church, was a member of the Pink Diva's and had been a volunteer at Circle of Hospice House for the past 13 years. Her biggest pleasure was spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Joyce is survived by her husband of 56 years, Tom Lundstrum, of the home; two sons: Tom Lundstrum and his wife, Robin, of Elm Springs, Arkansas and Brent Lundstrum of Fayetteville, Arkansas; three grandsons: Luke Lundstrum, David Lundstrum and Isaac Lundstrum; two granddaughters: London Lunstrum and Gracie Lively and husband, Jacob; one great-grandson, Max Lively; many nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Funeral service will be Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowood Avenue, Springdale, Arkansas 72762 with Elder Tom Lundstrum and Chaplain Chuck Bengtson officiating. Burial will follow in Elm Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, October 19, 2018 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Luke Lundstrum, David Lundstrum, Isaac Lundstrum, Tyler Gibbs, Jacob Lively and Don Peters.
