Sydney Ben Gill

Sidney Ben Gill, 61, of Pea Ridge, died April 30 in Springdale. He was born September 4, 1956 in St. Louis, Missouri to Sidney Willard Gill and Gwyndolene Deborah Holden Gill. He married Penny Lee Price July 17, 1976 and worked in retail sales for Wal-Mart Stores in Bentonville. He enjoyed fishing, camping, hiking, playing guitar, reading and going to flea markets. He is preceded in death by his father; and a brother, John Gill. Survivors are his wife Penny Gill of the home; his mother, Gwyndolene Gill of Carrollton, Illinois; two sons, Jacob Gill of Pea Ridge, Christopher Gill of Bentonville; a daughter, Misty Steffes and husband Jason of Memphis, Tennessee and four grandchildren. Cremation arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge. A private memorial service will be held. Online condolences may be made at siscofuneralhome.net.
