Billy Bob Cavin was born April 14th, 1937 in Holliday, Texas to parents Bob and Opal Cavin. Bill proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He went to work in the Ohio factory industry. Bill and Alice Voarhees were married May 7th, 1959. To this marriage they had one daughter and four sons. In 1961 they moved to Oklahoma, where Bill went to work for Humble Oil and Refining Company. Bill retired from Exxon Company USA (formerly Humble Oil and Refining Co.) after thirty years of service. In 1999 they retired to Bella Vista, Arkansas, where they lived at the time of Alice's death in 2007. Bill and Jean Thomas were married on November 25th, 2014. They enjoyed a few short years together filled with laughter and fun. She was his wife, friend, caregiver, and advocate. She was there in his most trying moments of dementia and failing health. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Alice, and one sister, Radine Hughes. Bill is survived by his wife, Jean Cavin of Bella Vista, Ark., daughter, Ruth Kelly (Charlie) of Yukon, Okla., Michael of Tucson, Ariz., Mark "Bob" of Arkansas, Russell (Shelia) of Killeen, Texas, David (Gail) of Midland, Texas, five granddaughters, six great-granddaughters, one great-grandson, and one sister, Aleta (Richard) Ellsworth of Salem, Ala. Services have been entrusted to Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, Rogers, Arkansas.
