Oney Mae Vaughan

Oney Mae Vaughan, 89, of Springdale passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. She was born October 8, 1927 in Washington County, Arkansas to Sam Henry and Ollie Gertrude Sizemore Johnson. She worked for Tyson Foods for many years. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening and she was a great cook. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thurman Vaughan; one son, Randy Vaughan; Parents and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include two sons, Rick Vaughan and wife Traci and Jerry Vaughan and wife Cathy all of Springdale; one sister, Lena Johnson of Springdale; several grandchildren including Randy Vaughan, Zackary Vaughan, Garrett Vaughan and Rikki Vaughan; One great-grandchild, Addisyn Vaughan. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 21st, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale. Burial will follow in the Sonora Cemetery.
