Forrest "Chip" Bailey Jr., age 58, passed away in Bentonville, Ark. on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Chip was born July 27, 1958 in Houston, Texas to Forrest (Frosty) and Zola (Mullen) Bailey. He was a resident of Centerton, Ark. after living in Houston and New York City. He was a retired Houston Texas Firefighter and recently retired Assistant Baseball Coach at McDonald County High School. He had a passion for life and loved his family. He spent many hours working to coach baseball from the T-ball level to High School. He was described by friends and family as having a "servant heart". He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Regina Stracener Bailey of Centerton, Ark., two sons; Forrest A. Bailey III (Gretchen) of Spring, Texas and Craig A. Bailey of Fayetteville, Ark., his father, Forrest Bailey of Montgomery, Texas; sisters, Marsha Barbaria (Richie) of Ft Myers, Fla.; Debbie Clift (Randy) of Montgomery, Texas; Mother-in-law, Wilma Stracener of Houston, & Step-grandson, Cowan Adams of Spring, Texas. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, February 24, 2017 at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel, Rogers, Arkansas, with Pastor Jamie Lantzsch officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery in Houston, Texas. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Circle of Life Legacy Village, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, Ark. 72762.
