Florence Maxine Tando

Florence Maxine (Saulsbury) Tando, age 101, of Farmington, died Saturday, February 18, 2017 in Fayetteville. She was born December 9, 1915 in Oklahoma Territory, the daughter of Edward and Roxy Franklin Saulsbury. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Tando and one grandchild, Tina Smith. She was a retired employee of the Campbell Soup Company. She is survived by a daughter, Louise Shelley of Farmington; a brother, Boone Saulsbury of Farmington; two grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at 1 p.m., Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Round Mountain Missionary Baptist Church followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Round Mountain Cemetery, under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
