Robert Reuben Lusk

Robert Reuben Lusk, 88, of Fayetteville, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2016 in Fayetteville. He was born June 2, 1928 in Kansas City, Missouri to Robert Ralph Lusk and Neva Nell Boutwell Lusk. He had a Bachelors Degree in Sociology and Psychology with a minor in Art from Illinois College at Jacksonville, Ill. in 1950. Robert was a corporal in the US Army during the Korean War and retired from the US Postal Service in 1988. After retirement he became an avid woodcarver. He moved to Mountain Home, Ark. in 1968 from Villa Park, Illinois, then moved to Fayetteville in 1970 from Mountain Home. Robert was preceded in death by his wife Joana Ruth Lusk and a son Jonathan Scott Lusk, and his parents. He is survived by his son Robert (Randy) Lusk and wife Francie of Hot Springs Village, daughter Ruthanne Lusk Whitehead and husband Mark of Bentonville, son Kevin Todd Lusk and wife Corrie of Sheridan, daughter-in-law Suzanne Lusk of Springdale. Grandchildren, Robbie Lusk, Christie Jackson, Tiffany Whitehead, Brently Lusk and William Lusk, and seven great-grandchildren. A private family memorial service will be held in Mountain Home.
