Carol Jean Gray

Carol Jean Gray, 66, of Fayetteville, passed away on October 15, 2016, after a 14 year struggle with breast cancer. She was born September 6, 1950 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Robert W. Burch and Marjorie Ann Burch. She was preceded in death by her parents. Carol graduated from the University of Houston in 1975 with a degree in art education, but she spent her 40+ year career as a bookkeeper and income tax consultant. For the last 13 years, she was owner of Number Krunchers LLC in Springdale, helping individuals and small businesses with tax preparation, bookkeeping, business recordkeeping, and tax law. She was a lifetime Girl Scout and, like her mother, an avid quilter. She is survived by her husband of nearly 46 years, Richard Gray, and her son David Gray, both of Fayetteville. A memorial service for Carol will be held on Saturday, October 29th at 10 a.m. at the chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home. Condolences may be given online at www.nelsonberna.com.
