Teresa Gail Davison

Teresa Gail Davison, some called her Teresa. Some called her Big T. Her husband called her his best friend and the beautiful mother of his children. Her children called her Mom. She peacefully went to sleep in our arms while we told her how much we loved her and woke up in the arms of Jesus. What a privilege it has been to be the husband and daughter of such an amazing woman. She loved with everything she had. She was humble, full of grace, and unconditional love. Looking back over the years there are not enough pictures to capture all the memories that we will forever hold in our hearts. She loved her husband faithfully and loved all of her children with a grateful heart. Her laugh was contagious and every time she told a joke you never heard the punchline because she was laughing so hard she couldn't finish it. She had a heart of gold and a love for Jesus that touched so many people's lives throughout her 58 years on this earth. Selfishly we wanted to keep her here but she was needed in heaven for a bigger celebration. For the first time in 34 years she got to celebrate her son's birthday in heaven. She had longed for the day that they would be together again. We miss her and can't imagine this life on earth without her, but we are so thankful for the hope we have in Jesus that we will see her again soon. "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted." Matthew 5:4 Teresa went to heaven on Nov. 24, 2016 from her earthly home in Pierce City, Mo. She was born July 25, 1958 in Springdale. Teresa was devoted to taking care of her family. A loving wife, mother, and friend. She enjoyed quilting, needlework, tending to her flowers, gardening, and being outside. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Diamond, Mo. She is survived by her husband, Bradley Davison of the home; two daughters, Heather Russell and husband, Matt of Springdale, Holly Rodgers and husband, Chris of Rogers; her parents, Carl and Dean Potter of Springdale; one brother, Terry Potter also of Springdale; and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by an infant son, James Brandon Davison on Nov. 24, 1982. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, at Benton County Memorial Park. Arrangements are with Heritage Funeral Home, online guestbook at www.heritageofnwa.com.
