Lane Spears

Lane Spears, 72, of West Fork was born November 25, 1943 in Dallas, Texas. After a long illness, he passed at Washington Regional Medical Center on May 14, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Hazel Spears of Winslow; and several aunts, cousins and nieces. He is survived by his wife, Alice Spears of West Fork; brothers, Bob Spears of Winslow and George Spears and wife, Geri of Winslow; Walt Spears and wife, Sue of Phoenix, Ariz.; sister, Mary Ruth Sharp and husband, Will of Purdon, Texas; and numerous aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. He loved being part of a large family and tried to keep up with them as best he could. He will be missed by all. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Sunset Cemetery under the direction of Beard's Chapel. There is no scheduled visitation.
