William "Bill" Russell Wagner Jr.

Bill Wagner, 78, of Destin, Fla., passed away on July 19, 2016, at Sacred Heart Hospital. A celebration of life service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, July 29, 2016, at Emerald Coast Funeral Home, 161 Racetrack Road N.W., Fort Walton Beach, Fla. Burial will be, at a later date, at Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, Fla. Memorials may be made to the Children's Advocacy Center, Niceville, Fla, or a charity of your choice, in lieu of flowers. Bill was born May 29, 1938, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Russell and Florence Wagner. He married Becky Wade on March 3, 1962. Bill was employed by Walmart Stores Inc. and was a Director of Operations for Sam's Club. He retired from Walmart on Feb. 1, 2006. Bill is survived by his wife, Becky Wagner; three daughters, Lisa Wagner Pozza, Cara Dyke, Kristi Wagner; five grandchildren, Brittany Passmore, Amanda Westcott, Bobby Passmore, Carson Wicke, and Sophie Welbourn; and two great-grandchildren, Levi Martin and Remi Westcott.
