Beverly Pomeroy Chambers

Beverly Pomeroy Chambers, 90, passed away on July 15, 2016 in Bella Vista. She was born on July 16, 1925 in Providence Forge, Virginia to the late Clarence A. and Mary Beverly (Rice) Pomeroy. She was the wife of the late James C. Chambers Sr. Beverly attended the Pan American School of Business in Richmond, Virginia in 1988, received first Para-Professional Programming Diploma granted by Northwest Vocational Technical School Computer Extension Program. She helped to establish as well as worked at the Adult Development Center of Benton County. Beverly was a member of the Central United Methodist Church from 1974-1991. She transferred her membership to the Grace United Methodist Church and served as the Financial Secretary since 1992. She enjoyed sewing, needlecrafts, and gardening as well as spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings; George Pomeroy and Jaquelin Gregory Pomeroy. Beverly was survived by her son, James and wife, Chris Chambers of Bentonville; daughter, Bevie Chambers of Bentonville; two granddaughters, Jennifer Evans and Brad Wyman of Gravette and Amanda Uranga and husband, John of Bentonville; two grandsons, Cliff Chambers of New Jersey and Jason Chambers of Springfield, Missouri; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
