Rosemary Martin

Rosemary Martin, 81, of Rogers died Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at her residence. She was born June 4, 1934 in Chanute, Kansas the daughter of Myrtle Allen and John Ornelas. She was a homemaker. She loved completing word searches. She enjoyed going to church and reading and studying her bible. She enjoyed spending quality time with her family. She and her husband had lived in Northwest Arkansas for over 20 years after moving from Texas. She was preceded in death by: her parents, her husband, one son, and two brothers. Rosemary is survived by: one son; Rick Martin of Bella Vista, one daughter; Rita Martin of Rogers, two brothers; Sam Ornelas and his wife Billie of Kansas, Kenny Ornelas and his wife Joan of Kansas, three sisters; Phyllis Martindale and her husband Kenneth of California, Shirley Hutton of California, Cheryl Bickel of California, eight grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. Friday at The Ridge Community Church of Pea Ridge. Funeral Service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at The Ridge Community Church of Pea Ridge, with Pastor Richard Decker officiating. Interment will follow the service at Rogers Cemetery.
