Sherry Lynn Harmon

Sherry Lynn Harmon, 75 of Springdale, passed away Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016 at her home. She was born Dec. 5, 1940 in Springdale to Martin Clarence and Johnnie Belle Boyd Holt. Sherry graduated from Springdale High School. She was an accounting manager. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Lowell. She enjoyed reading, quilting and painting. She brought joy to all and touched many lives. Sherry had a great sense of humor. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Roger Holt. Survivors include her husband David Harmon of the home; one son, Rick Smith and wife Melissa of Hindsville; one daughter, Lyniece Martin and Mike Townsend of Springdale; three sisters, Bebe Dale McFerrin of Springdale, Barbara D. Pulos of Springdale and Darlette Kendrick and husband Tommy of Springdale; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale with Pastor Gary Thomas and Pastor Ben Rowell officiating. Burial will follow in Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
