Paula Carol Goode Adkins

Paula Carol Goode Adkins died on Feb. 5, 2016 in Mesquite, Texas. Paula was born on Nov. 13, 1956 in Raleigh, N.C. to Ethel Goode (Carter) and Monroe Jack Goode. Her father, grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Paul Goode and Mr. and Mrs. Daniel L. Carter preceded her in death. Paula is survived by her: son, Collin Adkins of Mesquite, Texas; mother, Ethel ("Ty") Goode of Fayetteville, Ark.; sister, Dana Goode Bassi of Fayetteville, Ark.; brother, Monroe Carter Goode (Shannon) of Gibsonton, Fla.; nephews, Jeremy Goode (Ellen); nieces, Annette Goode and Rebecca Bassi Bloyd (Nick); great-nieces and nephews, Audry Goode, Simon Goode, ZoeEllen Goode and Mason Bloyd, and numerous cousins. She graduated from Fayetteville High School in 1975 and the University of Arkansas in 1979. Paula worked in various financial institutions. She belonged to Chapter BU of the P.E.O. sisterhood, Epsilon Chapter of Beta Tau Alpha Sorority and numerous banking associations. Paula was a beautiful woman who loved her family very much and leaves a big hole in our hearts. Services: Sat., Feb. 13, 2016 viewing at 1 p.m. and service at 2:00 pm at Keystone Church, Mesquite, Texas; and Sat., Feb. 27, 2016 at 2 p.m. at First United Presbyterian Church, Fayetteville, Ark. Memorials to any Animal Rescue Organization.
