Eugenia Estevez

Eugenia Estevez, 82, of Rogers, Ark. passed away Monday, February 1, 2016 in Rogers. She was born June 20, 1933 in El Salvador to Marcos Flores and Francisca Calderon. She was a homemaker, the best pupusa maker, and a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. There is not enough time nor words to explain what a remarkable human being she was. We will all remember her contagious laughter, welcoming hugs, and bigger than life personality. She is survived by her children, Merci Balladares of San Antonio, Texas; Francisco Estevez and his wife Marlene of Bentonville, Ark.; Marcos Calderon and his wife Delmy, Blanca M. Estevez and her husband Asuncion, Andres Zepeda and his wife Beatriz, and Anselmo Estevez and his wife Dulce, all of Rogers, Ark.; her brother Asuncion Calderon. She leaves many grandchildren that will miss her immensely, Claudia Cruz of Siloam Springs, Ark., Juan Francisco Cruz of Los Angeles, Calif., Robert and Benny Balladares of San Antonio, Texas, Ronald Estevez of Bentonville, Ark., Ana Silvia Tessaro of Vienna, W.Va., and Ingrid Castro, Melvin Escobar, Rodrigo Calderon, Blanca Eugenia, Ana Iveth, and Brenda Estevez, Katie, Aileen, and Emily Zepeda, all of Rogers, Ark., Carlos Urias, Guillermo Alejandro Contreras and MeLida Estevez. Her great-grandchildren include Kevin Tessaro, Daniel and Gurden Castro, Ray Jackson, and Brenli, Jayhden, and Isabella Britt and great-great-grandchildren Isaias, LayLa Santiago Balladares and Lucia Aleman. Our family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 3 from 4 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, February 4 from 2 to 8 p.m. at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th, Rogers, Ark. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 5, at 12:30 p.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Rogers. Burial will follow at St. Vincent Cemetery.
