Robert Berchtold

Robert Howard Berchtold, Jr., 67, of Pea Ridge, died January 30 at his home. He was born December 17, 1948 in Boston, Mass. to Edward Warren Berchtold and Carolyn Varney Brown Berchtold. He was a realtor in the Chicago, Illinois area and enjoyed gardening, cooking, and tinkering with small engines. He is preceded in death by his parents; a son, Robert Penegor and two brothers, Edward and Thomas Berchtold and a sister Virginia Berchtold. Survivors are his wife, Carolyn Berchtold of the home; three daughters, Lisa Fox of Fox Lake, Illinois, Melissa Ammirati and husband James of Chicago, Illinois and Alison Berchtold of Pea Ridge; two brothers, Peter Berchtold of Billingham, Mass., Phillip Berchtold of Columbia, Penn.; two sisters, Linda Sears of Springdale, Ar., Carolyn Patnaude of Sharon, Mass. and five grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 3 at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Pea Ridge. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Northwest Arkansas Diabetes Assoc., 1732 Moberly Ln.
