Matthew Jay Self-Phillips

Matthew Jay Self, 29, died Wednesday, August 17, 2016 in Paris Arkansas. Matthew was born June 12, 1986 to the late Mark and Patricia Self. Matthew graduated from Paris High School and studied in Criminology. He loved his family and most of all being with his daughter. Matthew is survived by his daughter Addalyn Grace Self of Joplin Missouri, two sister Amanda Blake and Melanie Self of Rogers, Ark. and one brother Justin Self of Eureka Springs, Ark.; two brothers-in-law, Aaron Washington of Rogers Ark. and Michael Wilmoth of Rogers, Ark.; one sister-in-law, Tiffany Phillips of Eureka Springs, Ark; grandmother, Aloha Self of Rogers, Ark., Phillip and Glenda Gaddis of Pea Ridge Ark. He is also survived by one Uncle Timothy Gaddis of Centerton, Ark. nd three Aunts Lisa Gaddis of Clarkston Michigan, Edith Rosado of Michigan and Lisa Gaddis of Centerton, Ark., three nieces, Abigail Fontenot of Lake Charles Louisiana, Taylor Blanchard of Rogers, Ark., McKinley Washington of Rogers, Ark. and two nephews, Jerimiah Self of Rogers, Ark., and Mark Washington of Rogers, Ark. among many other friends and family. Matthew is preceded in death by his father Mark Eugene Self and mother Patricia Ann Self, Grandfather George P. Self and Grandmother Victoria A. Ramos. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers, Ark. A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 26, 2016 at 10 a.m at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. All family and friends whom Matthew influenced are invited. All donations and flowers may be sent to Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers, Arkansas.
