June Davison, 80, of Avoca, died Monday, April 11, 2016 in Rogers. She was born October 22, 1935 in Portageville, Missouri to Dock Marshall and Gertie Mae McPeak Nowell. June enjoyed crocheting, playing the guitar and singing the old hymns. She loved people and was devoted to the care of her family. She retired from the jewelry department with Walmart after 22 years and attended Daystar Church of God in Rogers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Willey Davison, Sr. in 2002, and a grandson, James Brandon Davison. She is survived by six children, Glen Willey Davison, Jr. and wife Janet of Springdale, Lynn Davison and wife Lisa of Fayetteville, Kathy Phillips and husband Mike of Avoca, Bradley Davison and wife Teresa of Pierce City, Missouri, Marshall Davison and wife Sabrina of Rogers, Shane Davison and wife Joy of Aix-en-Provence, France; three brothers, Wade Nowell, Dwight Nowell, Roger Nowell; seven sisters, Patsy Roberts, Bobbie Searles, Vonnie Snelling, Alinda Sue Frame, Tonya Swims, Peggy Jo Schoolcraft, Teresa Lemmerbrock; 11 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 15, at Benton County Memorial Park in Rogers. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Heritage Funeral Home in Springdale.
