Bobbie Jo McMaster

Bobbie Jo McMaster, of Gravette, went to be with the Lord on Sept. 25, 2015. She was born on Aug. 17, 1934, in Cauthron, Ark., to Loyd and Lillie Bennett. Bobbie Jo will be remembered as a loving mother and a devoted Christian who dedicated her life to the Lord. A longtime member of Gravette, she was a proud member of Beacon Baptist Church. Survivors include her children, Jerry Bowen (Patricia) of Tulsa; Brenda Law of Bella Vista; Janet Elsea (Larry) of Burleson, Texas; Sandy Schaffer (Bobby) of Gravette; siblings, Elane, Loyd, and Jerry Dale "JD" Bennett; grandchildren, Kimberly, Lindsey, Megan, Audra, David, Sarah Jo, Kerry; and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Hueston Bowen, John McMaster; and siblings, Roma Jean, Jack, Ruby Nell, and Jim. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 28, 2015, at Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Bentonville. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 29, at Bobbie Jo's beloved Beacon Baptist Church in Gravette. Burial will follow in Hillcrest cemetery.
