John William Stephens

John William Stephens, 62, of Gravette, Arkansas died Monday, October 19, 2015. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 6, 1952 to Wesley and Betty Stephens. He lived most of his life in Gravette, proudly served in the U.S. Air Force, and worked at Walmart for 32 years. John enjoyed going to gun shows and collecting model trains. Preceded in death by his parents and his brother, James Stephens. John is survived by his significant other, Teresa Pedersen and her daughter, Gracie of Lanagan, Missouri; sisters, Pam Bertschy of Hiwassee, Arkansas and Mary O'Hair of Centerton, Arkansas; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery at 10 a.m., Friday, October 23, 2015 in Hiwasse, Arkansas.
