Claybourn "Leroy" Freeman, Jr., 62, of Fayetteville, was called home by his Lord on May 22, 2015 at Washington Regional Medical Center. He was born July 21, 1952 in Fort Smith to Claybourn and Florine Freeman. Leroy was raised in Fort Smith where he went to Southside High School. He later resided in Greenwood and Fayetteville. He was owner and operator of Freeman Construction and Painting operating in Northwest Arkansas for over 20 years. Later years he was foreman of Banks Farm in Fayetteville. He was an avid reader, loved traveling, listening to music and especially spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Mary Freeman of forty years; two sons, Clay Freeman of San Francisco and Jon Freeman and wife, Gina of Fayetteville; two grandchildren, Tyler and Peyton Freeman. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Friday, May 29, 2015 at Banks Farm 15760 Zimmer Rd., Fayetteville, Arkansas 72701. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be sent to The Pack Shack, a 501c3 non-profit organization that helps fight hunger in Northwest Arkansas.
