James Carl Neighbors, of Paris, Ark., passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015 in Fort Smith. He was born July 20, 1936 in Bauxite and was 78 years old. James was a retired Rodeo Stock Contractor and a cowboy. He was past president of the International Pro Rodeo Association (IPRA) and was a member of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA). He attended First United Methodist Church in Paris. Memorial service will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 31 at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Paris with Mr. Neal Davis officiating the service. Visitation will follow immediately after the service. Memorial graveside service will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 1 at Fowler Cemetery in Paron, Ark. under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Paris. He is survived by his wife, George Ann Neighbors; three sons: Odest Neighbors of Pine Bluff, Howard Neighbors and Ray Neighbors of Benton; one sister, Carlene Brazil of Benton; two grandchildren, Jessica Burks of Bentonville and Myles Neighbors of Benton.
