Robert "Bob" Tipton

Robert "Bob" Tipton, 83, of Fayetteville died Saturday, March 07, 2015 in Fayetteville. He was born Sept. 30, 1931 in Felt, Idaho to Charles and Nola Ogla Tipton. He was in the construction business; was partnered with his brothers as a mechanic at Tipton Bros. Garage; and enjoyed the rest of his life as a farmer. Bob was the last of "The Good Ol' Boys". He was a deacon at Farmington Baptist Church. He loved God and his family. Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Minnie Beth Tipton; daughter, Neina Beth Tipton; two brothers; and one sister. He is survived by two daughters, Penny Tipton of Fayetteville and Sherri Tipton of Lubbock, Texas; sister, Ruby Smith of Little Rock; granddaughter, Kimberly Brainard of San Franciso, Calif.; and grandson, Stephen Gourley of Bentonville. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Farmington Baptist Church with Preston Beeks officiating. Interment will be in Farmington Cemetery under the direction of Beard's Chapel. The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. on Monday, March 9, 2015 at the funeral home. Per Bob's request, please dress casually as he wanted to be "the best-dressed man there".
