Irma Loretta LaBounty

Irma Loretta LaBounty, 93, of Pea Ridge, passed away Friday, June 26, 2015 at Willard Walker hospice home in Fayetteville. She was born Aug. 17, 1921 in Benton County, Arkansas near Hickory Creek to Seth and Mary Ann Brown Long. Irma worked for George's and for the Springdale School System. She was also a member of Westside Baptist Church in Pea Ridge. She loved camping, fishing, hunting, quilting and spending time with family. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles LaBounty; three brothers; five sisters; one daughter, Nada Ann LaBounty; and one son, Carol LaBounty. Survivors include one son, Jerry LaBounty and wife Emma Louise of Lowell; one daughter, Barbara David and husband, Gary of Pea Ridge; 12 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale with Rev. Paul Eden officiating. Burial will be in Hickory Creek Cemetery.
