Lonnie S. "Bill" Cagle

Lonnie S. "Bill" Cagle, 89, of Bella Vista, Ark. died June 12, 2015. He was born on Oct. 31, 1925 in Independence, Kan. to Lonnie E. Cagle and Dorothy Day (Boone) Cagle. He served in the United States Navy during World War II. Bill was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Lila Dorothy. He is survived by one daughter, Cindy (Victor) Downey of Owasso, Okla.; one step-daughter, Susan (Charles) Varner of Grandview, Texas; one stepson, Arnold (Debbie) Mall of Kansas City, Kan.; half-brother, Gregory (Nancy) McCluney of Roswell, Ga.; five grandchildren, Nichole, Andrew, Douglas, Mary Kate and Keli; and six great-grandchildren. Bill was a hero to his partner in life of 18 years, Lynn Haines, and her 3 sons. Private family services were held at the Bella Vista Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark.
