Jerry Don Douglas

Jerry Don Douglas, 76, of Sulphur Springs rode off into the sunset Friday, July 17, 2015 in Bentonville. He was born April 17, 1939 in England, Ark. the son of Glen and Carmel Douglas. Jerry served in the U.S. Air Force, and lived in Northwest Arkansas for 19 years after moving from San Jose, Calif. He was a carpenter for many years. There was nothing he could not create with his hands when it came to woodworking. Also he enjoyed fishing. He was preceded in death by: his parents and two sisters: Pat Pellino, Judy Hicks, and his brother-in-law and best friend, Glen Hicks. Survived by: his love, Lani Jacob; daughter, Olivia Lacoe (Brian) of Pineville, Mo.; granddaughter, Dani Lacoe of Pineville, Mo.; two brothers, Harold Douglas of Huntsville, Ark. and Larry Douglas of California; one sister, Shirley Douglas of California; Debbie Castillo (niece) of California; two sons, Raymond Douglas and Robert Douglas; and two daughters, Kerry Douglas and Kelly Douglas. He will be dearly missed. He was a great friend, and the love of Lani's Life. He was a great dad to Olivia and Brian. He was a great Papa to Dani. Thank you Papa for everything you taught us. We were so lucky to have you in our life. Lani loves you "To The Moon and Back." A private service will be announced at a later date. Memorials can be made to Circle of Life, Bentonville.
