William Knox Hinton Jr.

William Knox Hinton Jr., 60, passed away on January 13, 2015. He was born on December 27, 1954 in New Orleans, Louisiana to William Knox Sr. and Loree (McKinney) Hinton. In 1972, he graduated from Lebanon High School in Lebanon, Missouri. William attended the University of Missouri-Rolla where he was a member of the jazz band. He graduated from the University of Missouri-Rolla with a degree in Nuclear Engineering in 1976 and a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1978. William was a professional engineer. He worked at Entergy Operations Incorporated, Arkansas Nuclear One located in Russellville, Arkansas from 1978 until his retirement in 2012. William married Constance Hinton on July 7, 1997 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They lived in Russellville, Arkansas until 2013 when they moved to Bella Vista, Arkansas. Bill attended St. Theodore's Episcopal Church in Bella Vista, Ark. William is survived by his wife, Constance "Connie" Hinton, of Bella Vista, Arkansas; his father, William Knox Hinton, Sr., of Bentonville, Arkansas; daughter Sarah Hinton of Carthage, Missouri; three sons, Andrew Hinton of Fayetteville, Arkansas; James Scott Herford and his wife Tori of Elkins, Arkansas; and Stephen Herford of Fayetteville, Arkansas; one granddaughter, Elizabeth Anne Herford; two brothers, Mark Hinton and his wife Connie of Issaqua, Washington; and Dan Hinton and his wife Donna of Colorado Springs, Colorado. William enjoyed investing in the stock market, studying the history of Christianity, watching science fiction movies, and spending time with family and friends.
