Paulette Bolinger, 70, of Elkins, passed from this earth and gained her reward in heaven on January 19, 2015 at the Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville following an extended illness. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Delbert Bolinger; her children, Randy and Bonnie Bolinger of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Robyn and Brett Winkle of Farmington, Arkansas and Ryan and Rachel Bolinger of Ellkins, Arkansas, her eight grandchildren, Stephanie, Steven, Derek, Justin, Danielle, Stacia, Sydney, and Maggie, 6 great grandchildren, Lily, Dalton, Kylie, Emorie, McKinlee and Francis, her sisters Betty Boudrey and Brenda and Michelle Lewis and her brother, Chuck and Lorene Lewis, and many other beloved family and friends. Paulette was born on August 12th 1944 to Paulie and Iva (Eubanks) Lewis of Japton, Arkansas. Her dad, Private Paulie J. Lewis was killed in action in the Battle of the Bulge on December 25rd, 1944. Iva married Ted Lewis October 4th, 1952. Ted then became a dad to Paulette. She is preceded in death by her parents, Paulie, Iva and Ted Lewis and brother Roger. She was a shining example of Christianity to everyone that knew her and was a faithful member of The Japton Church of Christ. She was employed by Baldwin Piano, Delta Gamma House at the University of Arkansas and helped her husband on their chicken farm for many years until her health prevented her from working. In spite of her failing health she continued to the end to be the foundation and strength for her family and loved ones. Her family and friends are so grateful for her teaching them the importance of family, loyalty and faith. My wife, my mom, my mema, and my sis…we all love you and will hold you forever in our hearts. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 21, at the Mount Comfort Church of Christ with Jeff Thomas and Bobby Paul Eubanks officiating. Interment will be in the Mount Olive Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net of Huntsville, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be: Steven Bolinger, Justin Bolinger, Derek Winkle, Brett Winkle, Chris Brown and Kasey Cooper. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at Brashears.
