Patricia Louise "Pat" Cote

Patricia Louise "Pat" Cote, 72, of Merritt Island, Fla. passed away on Jan. 8, 2015. She was born on May 1, 1942 in Kansas City, Mo. to the late Ferrell and Laura Elizabeth (Soots) Thompson. Pat was the devoted wife of Eugene C. Cote for nearly 55 years. She was also a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who took great pride in the family she raised. She had lived in Rogers for two years but her home was on the road, where she traveled with her husband in their RV. She was a Roman Catholic and a member of St. Vincent de Paul Church in Rogers. Survivors include her husband; her children, Christopher Cote of Daleville, Ala., Craig Cote of Enterprise, Ala., Courtney Cote of Madison, Ala., Carrie Woodard of Fairbanks, Alaska., Casey Sams of Rogers; brothers, Michael Thompson of Minot, N.D., Stephen Thompson of Oakland, Calif.; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Linda Thompson Kruse. A private family service was held in the State Room at Rollins Funeral Home on Friday, Jan. 9, 2015.
