Marcy L. Kilgore

Marcy L. Kilgore, 87, of Fayetteville, Ark., passed away Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015, in Fayetteville. She was born Sept. 11, 1927, in Childress, Texas, to James E. Cotton and Daisy D. (Hardin) Cotton. She was a homemaker, active in her church and United Methodist Women, loved to sew, and was very active in the Senior Olympics where she won numerous medals. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Dr. Robert L. Kilgore; one son, Robert Kilgore and wife, Martha, of Allen, Texas.; two daughters, Linda Box and husband, Mickey, of Berryville, Ark., Kris Dunlap of Gilbert, Ariz.; seven grandchildren, Rachel Clay, Lindsay Box, Amber Brown, Jade Kilgore, Kylie Kilgore, Keylee Dunlap, Zane Dunlap; one great-grandchild, Ian Robert Brown. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, in the Convocation Room at Butterfield Trail Village, with Pastor Kenny Lee officiating. Private burial will be held at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville. Memorial contributions may be made to the United Methodist Women.
