Erma Dexter Brown

Erma Dexter Brown, age 88, of Fayetteville passed away Sunday, Jan. 4, 2015. She was born May 3, 1926, in Everton, Ark., to Arthur Emsley "Bo" and Bertha Dee Nelson Taylor. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church in Fayetteville. She is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Mary Edna Morris, Arthurine Trotter; and one brother, Winston Taylor. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Connell Brown; two sons, Mark Allen Brown and his wife, Elaine Austin Brown, of Durham, N.C., Craig Jay Brown and his wife, Patricia Davis Brown, of Fayetteville, Ark.; one sister, Shelline Williams of Winfield, Kan.; two grandchildren, Ellen Arwen Brown of Little Rock, Leslie Shin Brown of Fayetteville; and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 9, 2015, at Moore's Chapel. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Central United Methodist Church in Fayetteville.
