Stanley Miller Williams, 84, of Fayetteville passed away on Jan. 1, 2015, in Fayetteville due to Alzheimer's complications. Born April 8, 1930, Williams, an internationally celebrated poet, authored more than 30 books and served as the second inaugural poet for President Clinton. As an educator, he inspired hundreds of young writers. Williams is survived by his wife, Jordan; three children, Lucinda, Karyn and Robert. A memorial service will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Miller Williams Poetry Series, University of Arkansas Press, McIlroy House 105 N.
