Michael Eugene Chamlee

Michael Eugene Chamlee, 65, of Fayetteville passed away Saturday, February 14, 2015 in Fayetteville after a long battle with COPD. He was born August 21, 1949 in Magnolia, Ark. the son of Roy Herchell and Arietta May Willey Chamlee. He was preceded in death by his father; mother; brother, Phillip; and sister-in-law, Wynona. Michael enjoyed collecting music and movies after his retirement. Before retiring, he enjoyed fishing and hunting. Michael spent most of his working years in inventory and reupholstering furniture. Michael was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Lynn Wilcoxen Chamlee of the home, to whom he was married in 2001; two sons, Michael Dale Chamlee and wife, Debbie of Tontitown; and Kevin Ray Chamlee of Fayetteville; three daughters, Michele Denise Chamlee Graham-Birge and husband, Dion of Springdale; Cynthia LeeAnn Chamlee Kinsey and husband, David of Fayetteville; and Kathy Michelle Chamlee Mason and husband, Kenny of Fayetteville; brother, Fred Chamlee and wife, Ora Faye of Tontitown; mother of his children, Linda D. Chamlee of Springdale; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Beard's Chapel with Guy Durkee officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until service-time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Judes Medical Center.
