Nancy M. Dye, 93, was born in Eureka Springs, Dec. 9, 1921, to RC and Maggie Samuel Stilwell. God called her to her heavenly home, April 25, 2015. She was saved at the age of 14 during a revival in a school house and was baptized in the War Eagle River, becoming a member of the Baptist Church. She moved to Rogers from Clifty with her parents and became a registered practical nurse for 11 years. She married Milton Dye on April 6, 1957. They worked on the farm together until he passed away on Oct. 17, 1988. She continued to live on the farm, feeding cattle with a tractor and raking hay as long as her health allowed. Nancy was a member of the Garfield First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years and served on many committees. She was also preceded in death by her parents and three brothers: Arch, Ed, and Don. She is survived by three nieces: Lois Hathorn and husband, JT, Martha Brooks, and Donna Robinson; four great nephews: Stan Hendrickson and wife, Melanie; Steve Brooks and wife, Stephanie; and Jeff and Terry Hawthorn; one great niece, Sherry Moore and husband, Steve; 13 great-great nieces and nephews; five great-great-great nieces and nephews; and multitudes of friends. Funeral Services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th in Rogers with Brother Jack Maddox and Brother Paul Bryant officiating. Interment will follow in the Ruddick Cemetery near Garfield. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church in Garfield.
